The area has a substantial amount of parking and decent facilities. Cover from sun is minimal. It doesn't cost anything to park here and there's no gate. The beach had two significant problems...

Great beach to take your dog. Everyone is very friendly. The beach is clean and there are bathrooms available and wash area to get the sand off
