Clear Creek Middle School

Operational since 2007, Clear Creek Middle School is a learning center that provides academic instruction to students in grades six through eight. It operates a media center, counseling department and technology laboratory. The school offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program. It supports chorus and music activities. Clear Creek Middle School assists in the development of keyboarding skills. It organizes book fairs and educational trips. The school also organizes cross-country, tennis, soccer, cheerleading, wrestling, basketball, and track and field. It provides opportunities to participate in various student organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America and Beta Club. Clear Creek Middle School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is administered by Gilmer County Schools, which operates through curriculum, finance, food services, special education, technology and transportation services.
