Chastain Art Center, established in 1968, is one of the oldest city-operated arts facilities in Atlanta. It is a part of the City of Atlanta's Bureau of Cultural Affairs and presents contemporary fine art by local and regional artists. Open Monday through Saturday, it also holds exhibitions by local, regional, national and international artists. The City of Atlanta's Bureau of Cultural Affairs also comprises the Atlanta Jazz Festival, ARTSCool, Summer Murals and Atlanta Cyclorama.

I think it is closed now. I called them to see if their ceramics program was open. No one amswered, so I presume it is currently closed.

This is an amazing place to delve into the passions of your heart. It's a great facility with great people working there. What more could you want? Come join us. :))
