Central Gwinnett High School

Central Gwinnett High is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools system, and offers various educational programs and services to students in Georgia. The school s curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through 12 is known as Academic Knowledge and Skills. Teachers use curriculum guides, textbooks, technology and other materials to teach the AKS program and to ensure that each student learns to his or her potential. The school offers educational programs pertaining to various areas of study, such as language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, business and information technology, career education, communication technologies, computer science, and family and consumer science. It also provides programs pertaining to band and choral music, dance, orchestra, theatre and visual arts, and special education. It also offers health, marketing, media, modern and classical languages, peer leadership, physical education, study skills and technology education programs. The school is located in Lawrenceville, Ga.
