Founded in 1971, Byers Engineering Company s mission is to be one of the premier technical services firms in the telecommunications and utility industries. The company's first client was New York Telephone Company, who remains a client. Headquartered in Atlanta, Byers Engineering has more than 500 employees combined in its two divisions, SpatialAge Solutions and Engineering Services. The SpatialAge Solutions division, formerly known as the Information Systems division, focuses on the development of leading-edge AM/FM/GIS software, data conversion, mapping and records services, consulting and implementation. The Engineering Services division provides outside-plant and inside-plant engineering, fiber, copper and coax planning and engineering, construction management and inspection, central office engineering, fiber optic, engineering, turnkey carrier network implementation services, training systems and recruitment and placement of engineering talent for CLECs, RBOCs, IXCs, utilities, cable television companies and commercial clients throughout the United States.
