Carol Schretter - BankSouth Mortgage Loan Officer

Carol Schretter hails from Southfield, Michigan. Carol moved to Savannah in 1984 shortly after she served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant in the Signals Intelligence division in Japan for the NSGA.from 1977-1981. She has worked in the real estate industry in Savannah for 33 years. Carol's focus is to find the best loan program to fit a borrower's short and long term plans. She works with all types of borrowers including VA, FHA, and USDA purchasers, move-up and retirement home buyers, and with construction-to-permanent loan borrowers. Carol has experience helping borrowers take advantage of down payment assistance programs through Georgia Dream and City of Savannah Dreammaker.
