Captain D's in Waycross usually is a good place to eat but my last visit was not so good. I'm not complaining because they could've been short handed or had new staff that don't know any better...

At our Waycross, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Ate there yesterday because it was close to the hotel....disgusting is the only word to describe this meal. The food was SALTY and gross, but that isn't too surprising for a fast food fish...

Fried fish can be greasy. Service is quick. I really like their cole slaw. This location was within walking distance to our hotel.
