Butts County Sheriff's Office

Butts County Sheriff's Office has several divisions that assist in operating an efficient law enforcement department. Its uniform patrol division serves as first responders to calls for service throughout Butts County, Ga. Butts County Sheriff's Office conducts preliminary investigations and maintain law and order within the community through the enforcement of state and local laws. The office also provides preventive patrols, as well as is responsible for developing positive relations with the public. Its detective division specializes in handling detailed and technical criminal investigations not assigned to the uniform patrol division and consists of several investigators. Butts County Sheriff's Office is responsible for all detailed and technical criminal investigations not assigned to the uniform patrol division. It is comprised of four investigators and two narcotic investigators.
