Brunswick High School

Coastal Georgia Community College, located in Brunswick, Ga., is a community college that provides educational and cultural programs. The college also provides adult literacy programs, continuing education programs and corporate training solutions. The college provides campus courses that include certificate programs, computer courses, professional, development courses and self-enrichment courses. The programs include administrative medical office assistant certificate program; floral design; legal assistant, photography; Microsoft office courses; and business essentials for the entrepreneur; erosion and sediment control certification; arts and crafts; and language and communication. The college s adult literacy programs provide academic assistance for adult basic education, and English language program. The college also provides corporate and organizational customized training solutions, technical training, including introductory and advanced computer courses. It also offers students self-study courses over the Internet.

Established in 1943, Goodyear Elementary School is a coeducational institution that is a part of the Glynn County School System, which has a total enrollment of more than 12,000 students in nearly 15 schools. The school has business and educational alliances with the Waffle House, Sea Island, Publix, Rotary Club, Papa Johns and Allgood Pest Solutions. Goodyear Elementary School maintains a student council that promotes leadership and citizenship among students and keeps faculty and students working together on school projects. It also operates a parent-teacher association that provides opportunities for discussion of mutual concerns of parents and teachers and fosters communication with the school and community. Located in Brunswick, Ga., Goodyear Elementary School teaches approximately 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five.
