I don't share the sentiment of the two one-star reviews here. I have felt supported in my five years as a Big. To be a mentor, you have to have brains, gumption and a sense of accountability....

BBBS is a freaking joke! I wanted to volunteer as a big sister. I went for an interview, did 2 workshops and never heard anything. I called finally just for someone to say a rep will call me back....

Wouldn't recommend volunteering here. I had an awful experience with trying to become a mentor. I'm military part time and in college (was told i was a great actually PERFECT candidate to mentor)....
