Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club

Augusta Soccer Park is located in Augusta, Ga. Established in 1982, it is a nonprofit organization that provides soccer players an opportunity to play at a higher level. Its club provides various services and facilities to players, including recreational coaches, club coaches, camps and clinics for recreational and club players, and fielding more than 20 select teams. The club s selection program has 23 youth teams named Gunners that range from under-nine to under-19 age groups. The teams compete in the Classic I, Classic II, Athena A, and Athena B division tournaments. It also offers various other club activities, such as player development programs. The club s players are recruited by several colleges and universities, including Augusta State University, the University of South Carolina, Princeton University, and Georgia State University. It has more than 300 registered club players, and a seven-field facility. The club employs more than 20 licensed trainers.
