Bear Creek Nature Center is a private non-profit that aims to spread the joy of nature and the outdoor world. Our goal is to teach people of all ages in our community about our environment, hoping that they will cultivate a personal awareness, appreciation of, and participation in the natural world, especially of our native ecosystem. We foster efforts in environmental education, conservation, and community development using art, nature, and science as a way to connect. We have over 45 acres nestled just 20 minutes southwest of the Atlanta airport with trails, a pond, and a cabin with resident animal ambassadors who are rescued or retired native and exotic wildlife.
