Bartow County Fire Department

Established in 1970, the Bartow County Fire Department operates more than 10 fire stations that provide fire protection services for the unincorporated areas of Bartow County, as well as for the cities of Kingston, Euharlee, Taylorsville, Emerson and White in Georgia. The department has more than 65 full-time and 15 part-time employees and over 50 volunteer firefighters. Its equipment includes trucks, frontline pumpers, tankers, ambulances, grass and light-rescue rigs, and heavy-rescue and utility vehicles. The department s other services include rescue, vehicle extrication, first responder and EMT assistance to the Bartow County Emergency Medical Services, initial response to hazardous material incidences, assistance to local law enforcement agencies, victim recovery from drowning and fire safety education.
