Came here on a Saturday night and it was very crowded! There was a $5 cover charge. Upstairs there was a DJ and tons of people dancing. Downstairs was a more relaxed vibe with a ton of pool tables...

Barrelhouse South in Savannah has some of the hottest tickets in town with regular live bands playing through the entire week. Stop by for a night out with your friends or maybe meet some new ones. We carry all your favorite drinks and have plenty of room to hang out and just have a good time. Our unique lighting provides a cozy and quaint atmosphere. We have all types of music playing through the week, from blues and country, to funk and jam bands. We also a great venue to come check out any big sporting event on one of our several big-screen TVs and an enormous, 25 foot projection screen. Flat 12 oz Dos Equis for $8. College football Saturday. Only one game on TV. Not a sports bar and not worth your time.

My go-to when I visit Savannah. Bartenders are hustling and the DJ or band know how to read the audience. Makes so many good memories!

After dinner, we walked around and wanted to check out the Barrelhouse. In the basement area, there are a few pool tables and we enjoyed a few rounds of game. It got a little busy Tuesday night...

Great music, terrible bartenders... the bartenders only care about getting shots with each other and Knott waiting on customers. I felt like an inconvenience there the whole time I was there....
