Augusta University

Augusta State University enrolls more than 6,500 students annually from over 45 U.S. states and nearly 55 countries. It offers approximately 50 associate, bachelor s and master s degree programs in various fields, including art, journalism, science, business administration, music and social work. In addition, the university provides paralegal certificate and cooperative doctoral courses. Augusta State University offers an honors program and various sports activities that include basketball, baseball, softball, golf, tennis and volleyball. It also includes a fitness center, indoor walking track and billiard facilities. The university has a library that houses a range of educational books and resources. Augusta State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges.
