Atlanta Legal Aid Society is dedicated to providing free civil legal services to low-income individuals who cannot afford an attorney, with a mission to meet basic needs and remove barriers to justice. Through their work, they empower vulnerable community members to navigate the complexities of the court system during critical times in their lives.

The organization relies on the support of private donors and volunteers to enhance access to justice for those in need. Their commitment to community service is exemplified by advocates like Jacqueline Payne, who have made significant contributions to breaking barriers and advocating for change in the legal profession.
