Aria was named one of the country's best restaurants in 2000 by Esquire magazine and tops local lists for best restaurant, best chocolate desserts, best food and wine pairings and most romantic. Chef Gerry Klaskala is a recipient of the prestigious Robert Mondavi Culinary Award of Excellence, an honor presented to six chefs each year since 1994. The restaurant s specialty is his version of slow cooked -- braised, roasted, stewed and patiently simmered meats. There are also daily specials with fresh seafood selections.
