Ankur Goel, MD

Dr. Jorge, a Metabolic Surgeon and Obesity Specialist, is deeply committed to patient care. His interests include medical and surgical treatment for overweight and obesity conditions, with a strong focus on helping patients maintain their health and weight results over the long term. He is BoardCertified in General Surgery and Obesity Medicine through the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Jorge began his medical career as an active-duty Navy Corpsman, serving 6 years and one tour in Iraq 2003 before becoming a civilian paramedic. He remains involved in research, focusing on improving long-term outcomes with weight management and telemedicine applications.

Dr. Varkey specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology. His special interests include implantation and extraction of cardiac rhythm devices and complex ablation procedures. Dr. Varkey offers treatment for brady arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. In his spare time, Dr. Varkey enjoys spending time with his family, exercise and traveling.
