Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge, located in Dawsonville, Ga., is a holiday resort and offers lodge rooms, cottages, and picnic and group shelters. It is surrounded by waterfalls and is located on more than 800 acres of land. It also offers gift shops, tents, trailers and campsites. Additionally, it has restaurants, North Georgia Premium mall and the Alpine Village of Helen located within its vicinity. It offers the works of various artists, such as potters, painters and wood turners and a host of others, on display and for sale. It also offers demonstrations and workshops by professionals and retailers. Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge also offers various activities to tourists, such as hiking, picnicking, trout fishing and interpretive programs.
