History

After many years of creating foods, baked goods, and event planning for friends and family, I began working for other catering companies before deciding to start my own business. In 1997 NuSoulPhood was started. NuSoulPhood was the top vendor for Funk Jazz Kafe. After just a couple of events, the company began to prepare food for the artist performing at the event no longer vending, some of the artist, Erakh Badu, Jill Scott, Karen Wheeler, and Andre 3000 to name a few. The business began to grow however, interest changed. I began to supply local restaurants with baked goods and added personal chef services to the list of things offered.
