DeKalb Volunteer Lawyers Foundation was officially incorporated on June 1, 1982. During its 28 year history, the Foundation has assisted over 8900 clients with their civil legal problems. Over 1000 different attorneys have served on the panel of volunteer lawyers at one time or another.From its inception, DVLF was founded to serve the indigent community in DeKalb County by providing free access to legal services in a number of different practice areas.Our volunteer attorneys have donated their time and the resources of their firms to help DVLF in its goal of providing equal access to justice.
