With a history spanning over 30 years, the museum presents various exhibitions each year in four different gallery spaces. Our exhibition program is designed to reflect diverse cultures, periods, aesthetic styles, and movements. The Albany Museum of Art has an impressive permanent collection, which includes one of the largest collections of sub-Saharan African art in the Southeast. Admission is free but donations are welcome.

The museum and its permanent exhibits are among the region's lesser-known gems and is well worth a visit. The changing exhibits are what keep bringing me back.
