We also work with anyone looking for a structured setting to improve their overall brain function and memory, typically as a result of injury or age. Brain Fitness Centers of Florida LLC, is a dynamic organization founded to provide aid in the improvement of a persons cognitive ability. Under the supervision of Stephen L. Scranton, M.D., F.A.C.P., Brain Fitness Centers of Florida LLC, combines the most advanced clinical techniques with unique and medically-validated forms of brain and physical exercise. Each patient receives a series of screening tests and a physician consultation to review their existing issues and areas for improvement. Based on this information, the individual is placed in a comprehensive program, specifically designed for that person, focusing on brain exercise, stress management, physical wellness and nutrition. Upon completion of the program, the patient reviews their program and test scores, as well as many other contributing factors, with Dr. Scranton. We ask that the individual continue with the computer-based program for a designated period at home. Dr. Scranton is the first physician in Tampa Bay with a fully-integrated and committed Internet-based patient portal. This allows patients to view their lab work, which has been performed by BayCare or LabCorp. The results and information from these tests are generally available within 24 hours. Before being posted in the portal for patients to view, Dr. Scranton examines the results and attaches his personal notes.
