The World Textile Art (WTA) Organization, established in 1997 in Miami, Florida, is dedicated to the promotion and support of contemporary textile art on a global scale. Originally founded as Women in Textile Art by Colombian textile artist Pilar Tobón, the organization has evolved to champion artists and their works across more than 75 countries.
