Work It Out Counseling

History

After serving 20 years in the United States Army, I struggled with what to do next. I played around in the government contracting arena but that can sometimes be detrimental to the family. I wanted to be able to assist people and after much prayer, consideration, and mentorship from a counselor friend, I applied to Palm Beach Atlantic University and turned the page on my career by starting over at the young age of 46. I completed the 2 1/2 year program and was able to finish up my registered intern hours about two years after that. Working in a local practice taught me what to do right, better, and most of all what not to do. We now have our very own practice and enjoy helping people through the tough times and speaking love, life, and hope into all situations.

Specialties

We are a mental health counseling center and threat all mental illness. We focus on marriage and family as well as trauma resolution, anxiety, depression, and anger management.
