Dalibel Bravo, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Bravo specializes in hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow surgery. She also offers the WALANT (wide awake local anesthesia no tourniquet) technique, which gives patients the option to have surgery without general anesthesia. Prior to joining Baptist Health Orthopedic Care in 2021, Dr. Bravo was on staff at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, where she completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship. She holds a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the Mayo Clinic, where she focused on hand surgery. During her residency and fellowship at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, she completed the clinical-scientist track, where she focused on different medications that can enhance fracture healing. She won the Chief Resident Best Paper Research Award and the Harry Reicher Research Award for this research. She was also awarded the Sarah Pettrone, MD, Memorial Hand Surgery Scholarship Award, which is given to a resident who excels in their research in hand surgery. During her fellowship, Dr. Bravo trained with world-renowned hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow surgeons, allowing her to provide complete upper extremity care. Dr. Bravo’s research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Hand Surgery, Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology, BONE, Gene, and the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research. She also authored a chapter in the medical textbook “Basic Science for the Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeon: A Focus on Fracture Healing.” Dr. Bravo was born in Miami and grew up in Puerto Rico. She’s glad to come back home to care for patients in Miami. As a clinician-scientist, Dr. Bravo’s approach to patient care is to use evidence-based medicine and clinical and translational science to provide the best possible patient care. She is passionate about orthopedic surgery because treatment is often able to make an immediate difference in the lives of her patients, helping them get back to their lifestyle and quality of life. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Bravo enjoys yoga, scuba diving, snowboarding, biking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Gabriel Solti Grasz, M.D., is a Board-certified internal medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. He earned his medical degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela José María Vargas, in Caracas, Venezuela. He completed internships in internal medicine at Hospital Vargas de Caracas, in Venezuela and Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He completed a residency in Hospital Vargas de Caracas and Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He also completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at José Ignasio Baldó Hospital in Caracas, and later served as associate program director of the hospital’s pulmonary residency program. He also was an assistant professor of medicine at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He has conducted research in the area of pulmonary medicine and his findings have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Solti Grasz also has extensive experience developing medical software that improves healthcare management and patient care delivery. Jose Mena, M.D., is a board-certified physiatrist at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Mena specializes in diagnosing and treating spine and back injuries, diseases and disorders. He currently serves as the team pain physician for the Miami Dolphins and a team physician for FIU athletics. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Mena offers a variety of minimally invasive and noninvasive procedures to treat back problems, including sacroplasty for sacrum fractures, vertebral augmentation (balloon kyphoplasty and spine jack) for spine fractures, basivertebral nerve ablation (Intracept®), discograms/intradiscal procedures, transforaminal epidural steroid injections, facet joint interventions including radiofrequency neurotomy, sacroiliac joint injection, ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopically-guided injection of the peripheral joint, bursa injections and electrodiagnostic studies, including nerve conduction studies and electromyograms (EMG). Dr. Mena joined Baptist Health Orthopedic Care from the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics, where he served in several capacities, including as an associate residency program director in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and co-medical director of the UHealth Advanced Institute for Pain Management. Dr. Mena’s research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including PM&R, the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he has presented at numerous professional events and meetings. He is a question senior editor for the ABPM&R board and an ABPM&R oral board examiner. Dr. Mena also serves as an editor for the ABA pain medicine boards and is part of the ABA Pain Medicine Examination Committee. As an instructor for the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS, formerly SIS), he is dedicated to teaching safe and effective diagnostic and therapeutic interventional spine procedures to his peers. IPSIS instructors are among the most carefully selected faculty in interventional spine medicine.
