West Point K-9 Academy

West Point K-9 is a family owned business which is located in the heart of Horse Country near the Kendall area in Miami, Florida. We specialize in dog boarding, training and sales on two and a half acres of green countryside. Our business was started in the late 1960's in New York City and was then moved and reopened at our present site in the early 1980's. This year marks our 40th year in business, all by word of mouth on our excellent reputation. "Often copied but never imitated", has become our motto. One just has to visit our premises to see for themselves, the cleanliness of the facility and the dedication to our work. Our boarders run from their owner's cars to greet us which can insure that our clients can get away for business or pleasure for any length of time without worry or guilt which ensures a good time for both pet and owner. We offer all types of training on our large fields and have many happy clients, over many years. A caretaker is on the premises twenty four hours a day and we are opened to the public from 9am until 6pm Monday thru Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays to better care for your pets. As always, we offer free evaluations and can train any breed or size of dog. We work with many rescue groups and are known for rehabilitating even the toughest cases of abuse. Saving dog's lives and delivering a public service to the community has always been our goal. From basic obedience to off leash obedience, from home guard, to attack on command is what we train dogs to do. Behavior Modification Specialists is what we're known for. Old dogs can be taught new tricks and people can learn as well with our student training courses.
