Founded by cousins Brandon and Sean Welton, Welton Brewing Company emerged from their shared passion for brewing. Brandon, an Air Force veteran, honed his beer-making hobby into a successful venture after settling in Tampa Bay post-retirement. Their experimentation in Sean's garage culminated in winning an Oktoberfest tournament in Clearwater.
To infuse a unique flair into their brewery, originally from Damariscotta, Maine, Brandon and Sean introduced Damariscotta River Oysters. The soaring demand for these fresh Maine Oysters paved the way for adding Maine Lobster and Lobster rolls to their menu. This seafood triumph spurred their relocation to the current location in Pinellas Park, FL.
