Weeki Wachee Springs State Park

Weeki Wachee Springs is one of the oldest roadside attractions in Florida. The family-oriented park offers special events, mermaid shows and reciprocal parks. The spring mermaid camp program at the park offers underwater training sessions to children. The park s animal shows feature playful parrots, and an educational program on reptiles found in Florida. The park also offers riverboat rides, junior lifeguard camp, scuba diving, and canoe and kayak rentals. The students in the camp receive instructions on water safety, public relations, facility operations, water exercise, teamwork, leadership skills, basic work skills, and life guarding skills. The special events at the park include Weeki Wachee Springs' annual Halloween event, Christmas festival, and various other festivals and activities. Weeki Wachee Springs is located in Spring Hill, Fla.
