History

Walk in the Woods was opened in 2007 by the original owners Jacqui and Roy. The store was well known in the community for its selection of Crocs and Life is Good. Dana and Steve purchased the store in 2018 upon Jacqui and Roy heading for the mountains of Tennessee.

We have the outdoor gear you need for memorable camping and hiking trips featuring top brands such as Merrell, ENO, Gecko, Kavu, Olukai, Life is Good and more. We'll help you be prepared for all of your adventures. We only offer products that reflect our values, whether it's through sustainability, charity, or environmental advocacy, and we're proud to be a local business that is both involved in and gives back to our Mount Dora community.
