Villa Preparatory Academy

History

VPA founder is a former Homestead resident. She was born and attended school in Homestead all her life. She made it a point to obtain a degree in Education and open up a school in her hometown. This dream came true May 10, 2012 when she was approved by the State of Florida as an Independent School.

Specialties

Villa Preparatory Academy is a Non-Profit Private school. We provide educational services to students in the community of Homestead, FL. Our focus is to provide individualized and differentiated instruction for students to ensure that they all reach academic success. Our teachers are all highly-qualified and certified teachers in the State of Florida. We implement the Pearson Curriculum which is made available to all parents and students in English, Spanish, and Creole. We also have a specialized unit for students with IEPS, EPS, LEP, and other special needs. Our school is a tuition free private school. We accept Step Up for Students Scholarships, Mckay Scholarships, and Gardiner Scholarship. VPA is also a National Food Lunch Program Provider, therefore all of our students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
