Wuesthoff Progressive Care Center, located in Viera, Fla., is a more than 110-bed skilled nursing facility offering health care services to patients. The center has a transitional care unit and a residential care unit. The more than 50-bed transitional care unit provides subacute care and rehabilitation services to patients recently discharged from the hospital. The more than 60-bed residential care unit offers skilled nursing care to residents who can no longer live in their own homes. The hospital offers stroke, cardiac and postsurgical rehabilitation and recovery; orthopedic rehabilitation; recovery from fractures; hip and knee replacement and back surgery; respiratory rehabilitation; airway management disorders; hypoxemia; and pulmonary infections. Additionally it provides treatment for patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and cancer.
