She went on to earn her master's degree in transplant psychiatry at the Universitat de Barcelona in Spain and another master's degree in theological studies at New York Theological Seminary in New York City. Dr. Gomez is licensed to practice in New York City and Florida.She is a member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine and Asociación EMDR España. Dr. Gomez is affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.
