Graphicstudio

HistoryFounded during the 1960s renaissance of American printmaking, Donald Saff created Graphicstudio to explore new directions in print editions and multiples. Throughout its existence Graphicstudio has developed technical innovations to advance the practice of printmaking. Research and collaborations are not limited to works on paper; the production of sculpture editions and artist books has been a significant part of Graphicstudio's mission. Innovative sculpture multiples, cast bronze sculptures, and unique book projects have been produced since the early days of Graphicstudio. Recently, studio fabricators have researched and advanced innovative techniques in bronze; wood constructions; cast resin projects; poured basalt forms; and water-jet cut, polished stainless steel sculptures. The use of digital technologies for print processes including rapid prototyping for 3D multiples provides artists with technically advanced tools to expand their research and practice.SpecialtiesWorld-renowned artists at the forefront of contemporary art work in residency with Graphicstudio at the University of South Florida campus in Tampa.
