History

United States Blood Bank, Inc. was founded over ten years ago in Miami, Florida to meet the blood supply needs of the community, initially in Florida, and subsequently throughout the US. United States Blood Bank is registered and licensed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), accredited by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments Act (CLIA), complies with the certification standards for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services-CMS, and is fully accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks.

The United States Blood Bank is an FDA licensed and AABB accredited blood center that is dedicated to encouraging blood donations and raising awareness about the importance of our mission. We provide blood products to hospitals and blood banks across the United States. We offer information about our blood bank, the different types of blood, and how you can host your own blood drive. Independently hosted blood drives are the key to attaining the amount of donations our hospitals need to help patients during medical emergencies.
