All our techs and installers are certified and registered with the state of Florida. About Jim Martin Jim Martin is a native of Buffalo, New York who moved to Florida in 1989. Jim fell in love with Apollo Beach, Florida and moved there in 2000. He quickly realized the need for a dependable air conditioning company in the area and his passion for entrepreneurship lead him to open Apollo Beach Air in 2004. Jim served on the Apollo Beach Chamber's board as Treasurer for 2 years. He served on many committees as chairman, including the relocation and newsletter committee. He was the chair person for the Honorary Mayor's Race and business Person of the Year. Jim has been a major sponsor for the Manatee Arts Festival and Silent Auction. Jim's passion to serve led him to serve on the board for the Bahia Beach Yacht Club & Island Homeowners Association. He has also been a supporter for community groups such as the Tampa Sailing Squadron, Civic Association, and the Beautification Committee.
