Turner Construction has had a presence in southern Florida for more than 90 years. Beginning with the Venetian Hotel at Miami in 1910, Turner built many of the landmarks that south Florida residents recognize. Turner offers a range of construction related services, from reconstruction through construction management and general contract services. Some company buildings include the 13-story Ingraham Building in downtown Miami, built in 1927; and the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, built in 1926. Turner's Miami office has a local resident staff of 280 employees, including mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineers, as well as architects and licensed general contractors. Turner's Interiors Division in Miami performs tenant fit-out and renovation work on a variety of building types including schools, offices, restaurants, luxury high-rise residential and hospitals. Interior Division clients benefit from the company's local market knowledge, long and loyal subcontractor base and national resources.
