Finance Department is one of the departments of Orange City in Florida and provides financial services. The department is responsible for the management of the financial affairs of the city that include accounts payable, accounting, budget development, financial reporting, and fixed asset and debt management. It also provides various financial services, such as payroll accounting, revenue collection, utility billing and collection. Additionally, it provides information on investment options. It also holds budget sessions and workshops in collaboration with the city council for the review and analysis of preliminary budget proposals. It prepares financial reports in accordance to the generally accepted accounting principles. The department prepares annual financial reports after the completion of audits for submission to the Government Finance Officers Association.

About The Police Department: The City of Leesburg is located in Lake County in North Central Florida approximately 35 miles northwest of Orlando. Our city limits cover 35 square miles with a population of approximately 20, 000 residents within our city limits with several thousand more residing in the numerous retirement communities surrounding the city.
