Thunderbolt Elementary School

Thunderbolt Elementary School is a public school offering educational instruction to students in prekindergarten through grade six. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and is a part of the Clay County School District. It teaches a variety of subjects, including mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music and physical education. Its store provides paper, pencils, folders, poster board and school spirit items. The school offers academic achievement awards to students who demonstrate achievement at an individual level and are not eligible for honor roll, as well as top flight crew awards to students who show outstanding effort in academics. Its parent-faculty association is a partnership between parents and staff who assists in planned activities and carries out school fundraising projects. Thunderbolt Elementary School is located in Orange Park, Fla., and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
