Thomas C. Hammond, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist at Marcus Neuroscience Institute, a part of Baptist Health. Dr. Hammond specializes in neuroimaging and movement disorders. Prior to joining Marcus Neuroscience Institute in 1981, Dr. Hammond completed his neurology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Hammond is certified in neuroimaging by the United Council on Neurologic Specialties (UCNS). He currently serves as a clinical assistant professor of neurology for the Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology and American Society of Neuroimaging. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hammond enjoys teaching the next generation of neurologists.

He takes time to thoroughly review lab results and diagnostic images with patients to ensure that they fully understand the areas of concern and treatment plan. To maintain his own health, Dr. Schwartz makes fitness part of his daily routine. He enjoys playing poker and watching boxing, wrestling, baseball and football, but spending quality time with his two children brings him the greatest joy.
