Yudith Ruiz Arias received a Medical Degree from the Institute of Medical Science of Villa Clara Cuba where she also completed a residency in ophthalmology. She worked as an ophthalmologist in Cuba and an ophthalmology specialist in Nassau, Bahamas. After moving to Florida, Yudith received her associate in science degree in vision care technology/opticianry at Miami Community College and worked as an optician and ophthalmic technician. Yudith then went back to school at Florida International University to receive her Bachelor in Science of Nursing (Magna Cum Laude) and then Master Degree in Nursing where she graduated as Family Nurse Practitioner. As a caring, loyal and dedicated practitioner, Yudith loves to help people and see the smile on a patients face after the improvement to their vision.

Dr. Michael Lewis is a top cataract and eyelid surgeon and has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly. He began his medical training at the renowned St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Indiana University, where he was involved in numerous eye health research efforts. These efforts led to a practice focused on cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Lewiss residency allowed him to develop skill and experience as an eyelid surgeon in Blepharoplasty, the repair of droopy eyelids and bags under the eyes and related problems associated with aging. In addition to being a highly skilled eyelid surgeon, Dr. Lewis has also developed excellent cataract surgery skills. With regard to his cataract patients, Dr. Lewis performs the SmartLens procedure in an effort to free his cataract patients from their dependence on eyeglasses.
