The Write Touch offers an eclectic mix of stationery, custom invitations, leather goods, gifts and accessories. For more than thirty years, the store has been the consummate resource for the art of civilized communication. The shop has been a cornerstone of the San Marco neighborhood since Doris Mellion opened its doors in 1987. In 2007, when longtime customer Carolyn Hawthorne learned the shop was for sale, she was instantly interested. After extensive renovations, Carolyn reopened the store with Tucker, her now thirteen-year-old Golden Retriever, by her side. In 2011, Golden puppy Nicholas joined the family at The Write Touch. The boys have been featured in the majority of advertising campaigns for the shop and are dear friends of many customers. Stop in any afternoon and you will find them lounging near the front door waiting for a friendly pat hello.

Nice little shop. Has a nice selection of collectibles. A few stood out to me. I will go back up there and pick them up soon.

I was disappointed the dog wasn't working today, but everyone needs a day off. The collection of goods were to look at. I enjoyed how they used their dog in the selection of picture frames.

When you have to feel the quality of paper invitation or the smoothness of a fountain pen, this place is essential! They also have a lovely curation of unique gifts at multiple price points....
