Service was extra good (I'm old and cannot remember who SHE was) and I tipped more than I usually do. ...like 25 percent. Food is great as usual.

The Sand Trap Bar and Grill is the first sports bar in Venice, FL, to offer both American and Classic Thai cuisine. We feature deliciously fresh seafood entrees, steaks, sandwiches, salads, and a variety of Thai dishes. All of our incredible food is served by Sue Flynn and her friendly staff. We are conveniently located on the corner of Tamiami Trail S. and Jacaranda Blvd. in the Venice Village Shopping Center.

The Asian lady owner is rude . If you have a baby she treats you like trash before you're even seated. She Sat next to the trash can near the back . The bar tender tall Asian kid with big ears is...

I came here on recommendation that this place is an unconventional sports bar because it offers Thai food. I'm here to purport that The Sand Trap does have stellar Thai food, who would ever guess?...

The food is amazing and the service is great. Don't be fooled by the "sports bar" positioning, the food l, both Thai and American, was surprisingly and amazingly excellent. We loved it.
