History

The vision came to pass in 1972, when my family and I decided that Miami would be the destination for us to best introduce the cultural flavor and history of the Middle East, by being the first authentic and family owned and operated Middle Eastern market and bakery to open in Miami. Thus the first of three different incarnations of our business was born and would culminate ultimately with our opening in the wonderful Coral Gables area with which we continue to serve up the finest homemade foods and baked goods

Specialties

Our specialty at The Middle East Best Food is authentic homemade prepared foods and baked goods such as, hummus, pita bread, kibbeh, falafel, baba ghanouj, gyro, spinach, halal meat, and cheese pies. We also stock an array middle eastern products, including, but not limited to, nuts, spices, olive oils, olives, frozen meats, and dried fruits.
