The Mayflower Retirement Community, located in Winter Park, Fla., is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community. The community provides assisted living services, home care, outpatient clinics, and wellness and fitness centers. It provides independent living options to its residents through more than 200 residential apartment units, villas with private bedrooms and patio homes. The Mayflower offers assisted living services and facilities, such as nutritious meals, dining rooms, a library, convenience store, beauty parlor and barbershop. It also offers a team of trained professionals and certified nursing assistants that provide assistance with daily living activities and housekeeping and laundry services. Additionally, it offers exercise and recreational activities and organizes health-related seminars. The Mayflower has a Medicare-approved health center that provides skilled nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapies. It also provides outpatient clinics for routine diagnostic care and consultation. The Mayflower Retirement Community is approved by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission.
