The Jupiter Police Department

The Jupiter Police Department is a law enforcement agency that provides public safety and crime prevention services. It operates a patrol bureau that coordinates a juvenile first offender program, as well as oversees a community activities unit and neighborhood enhancement and community emergency response teams. The department maintains an administrative services division that is responsible for supporting data systems, records, training, fleet and asset maintenance, and recruitment and hiring units. The Jupiter Police Department also has an operations support division that is comprised of evidence and property, canine, marine, and forensic and crime scene investigation units, as well as special weapons and tactics, hostage negotiation and underwater recovery teams. It supports National Night Out, child safety seat and ride-along programs. The Jupiter Police Department is governed by the Town of Jupiter in Florida.
