The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay offer programs in five-core areas that include character and leadership, education and career development, health and life skills, arts and sports, fitness and recreation. Based in Tampa Bay, Fla., the B&GC s other locations in the same area are in Sarah Street, Kay Street, Yukon, Jackson Springs Road, South Coolidge Avenue, West Gladys Street, West Mango Drive, East Chelsea, North Boulevard, Destin Drive and West Sligh Avenue. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay also has a computer program where students are taught how to use computers and software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research.

Centre For Women, located in Tampa, Fla., is a nonprofit community. It offers a wide range of services for people of all ages. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is supported by other nonprofit agencies and grants from private and corporate foundations. Its staff includes licensed clinicians, degreed professionals, technicians and specialists. The community provides outpatients substance abuse treatment. It also offers various employment services, such as career planning, counseling, life management classes, job coaching, resume preparation, development workshops, interviewing techniques, and divorce and widow support groups. Additionally, the Centre For Women helps senior citizens by providing assistance with living conditions, nutrition and relational needs. It provides emergency home repairs for low-income elderly homeowners. Its services include carpentry, weatherization, plumbing repairs, wheelchair ramps and handicap retrofits and roof repairs and replacement.
