History

The Floral Boutique by Natures Home Decor was born out of our founders' experience in the wholesale floral industry. Our floral artists and founders have spent decades designing new product lines, expanding industry use of luxurious greenery, and popularizing new ideas in the national Wholesale Floral and Retail Floral marketplace. Our roots in the floral industry run deep. Founders, Buffi Smith and Jennifer Strickland grew up on a farm right here in Volusia County - where they learned how to cultivate cut foliage from their father and grandparents. Upon graduation both pursued other careers and came back home to join forces along with their Dad to create something new in the retail floral industry. No other florist team in DeLand can claim more total years experience in special event, wedding, and everyday floral industry or replicate our amazing direct connections with flower farmers across the country, developed over a long history of working in the industry.
