The Key West Art Historical Society operates the Fort East Martello Museum, a Civil War-era fort transformed into a museum that showcases a diverse collection of relics, including artifacts from the Civil War, the region's wrecking and cigar manufacturing industries, and the imaginative sculptures of local artist Stanley Papio. Visitors also have the unique opportunity to encounter the infamous Robert the Doll along with other legendary "ghosts" of East Martello.

In addition to the Fort East Martello Museum, the society supports various cultural experiences and events across its historic sites, including the Tennessee Williams Museum and the Key West Museum of Art History at the Custom House. Through engaging programs and exhibits, the society enriches the understanding of Key West's vibrant history and artistic heritage.
