Tate High School

Founded in 1878, Tate High School is an educational institution that provides a variety of dual enrollment and advanced placement courses. The school is governed by the Escambia County School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools and alternative learning centers. The school offers programs in industrial technology, animal science, business education, and family and consumer science. Tate High School s range of extracurricular activities includes art, band, chorus, physical education and drama. The school operates student organizations, such as the National Honors Society, Future Farmers of America and Future Business Leaders of America. It also supports several sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and track and field. Tate High School is located in Cantonment, Fla.
